Consisting of one tapestry, beautiful Jacquard fabrics, comfortable wool and linen loops and one fine wool twill, this contemporary collection of enveloping, soft and refined high-end fabrics alternately features figurative motifs, geometric patterns and faux plains. ALTITUDE
ALTITUDE is the masterpiece of the BOREALIS collection, a spectacular tapestry boasting a subtle blend of figurative and stylised contemporary motifs. It draws inspiration from typical Scandinavian scenery, depicted in a pictorial fashion. The result is a highly contemplative design. In a feat of craftsmanship, the outstanding weave work brings out every detail, emphasising volume, contributing to a sense of refinement and movement. the fabric features a distinctively high repeat. Available in two colours: Glacier consists of natural tones, white with warmer ochre accents for a stunning interplay with natural light. Crépuscule displays bolder colours - celadon, indigo, cognac - in an evocation of the darker hours before nightfall.

A stunning French-made Jacquard fabric, BALTIC is woven at Lelièvre's own mill near Lyon, France. It depicts a view of an abstract and hazy landscape of mountains and rocks, with a remote horizon. The shimmering quality of the background brings light and contrast, creating a sense of rythm and volume. This faux plain, tonal pattern of natural shades subtly plays off materials and weaving irregularities. Its wool-like quality makes for a fabric that is extremely soft and drapes perfectly. Designed after ALTUITUDE, the iconic tapestry from the Signature BOREALIS collection, this elegant rug depicts a winter landscape covered in morning frost, executed in eight coordinated shades of blue and blue grey, balanced with warmer tones of yellow, off-white and ochre. A play with matt and glossy finishes and textured effects provides a perfect evocation of frost-covered hills. Every piece is hand-tufted, combining thin loops to thicker, looser ones, with varying pile heights to underscore the contrasting features of the landscape, and a plain stretches of tuft that evoke vast flatlands.
