A brocade woven as the original polychrome silk design on a cream cannetille ground, originally ordered for Madame du Barry s apartment in the Chateau of Versailles.About 1895-1896 the couturier Worth used the Reine des Fleurs for an evening gown. This gown is part of the collections currently held by the Galliera museum.
