Inspired by an 1866 archive, DAHLIA PERLÉ reflects the Second Empire's taste by ornamental richness and virtuoso design. This launched-and-cut lampas, woven from silk and cotton, subtly plays with contrasts of sheen and matte, revealing a sumptuous dahlia motif surrounded by pearls and floral arabesques. The fabric is available in a deep damson ground, true to the 1866 archive, as well as in a second champagne-ground variation, a soft, natural interpretation illuminated by light, satin-like tones.
