The 4 colours
Discover the collection
Drugget from the Louis XV period. This has a delicate motif of small shaded flowers emerging from a bordered garland on a geometric ground. The use of different weaves harmoniously complements the subtle background colours taken from the original design, it was most certainly used for both garments and furnishings when it was created. Chevalier Danceny is a character in the novel Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos. He is young, handsome, elegant, chivalrous and brave, and a gentleman of honour.
