KASAI
Inspired by the noble land and horizons of Africa, Kasaï is a contemporary interpretation of the graphic textiles of Kuba Kasaï. These velvets were woven by hand in a 400 year old method that has been continuously reinterpreted by modern artists. The motifs are formed by networks of parallel lines creating a diverse rhythmic geometric pattern. At the same time the matt and shiny reflections, colors, full and vibrant, give depth and richness to this cut velvet.

TROPICAL
Tropical is the iconic design for the season. This naive drawing specially created for the collection is expressed in the taperstry weaving technique. The deep harmonious blue of the background, like the bottom of the ocean, emphasises and brings out the colors and design of each motif like decoupage. At the heart of this profuse jungle-like reef are abstract motifs in the primary colors associated with ceramics of the 1950s.We also see vintages notes and tributes to the new designsof the artists of the 1960s.
